What are Ticket Bundles?

Ticket bundles are a collection name for subscriptions/season tickets and provide an overall view of sales and customers.

Three different types of Ticket bundles

MarketHype separates ticket bundles into three different types:

  • Flexible: This type allows customers to choose from known events at the time of purchase. The number and selection of events may vary between buyers. It is commonly used in music halls, where customers can create their program by selecting from all events in the season.

  • Fixed: All customers receive the same set of events in this type. The price may vary based on ticket type and venue section. This type is typical for sports clubs, covering all home games for the season.

  • Ticket pass: This bundle is not tied to specific events, allowing entry throughout the season without specifying visit dates. It is commonly used in museums and amusement parks.

Define the type of ticket bundle

When you or a colleague enters a subscription/season ticket for the first time, you will set the type of ticket bundle (flexible, fixed, or ticket pass). This is done to obtain an appropriate report with follow-up metrics for each bundle.

You can change this any time under the Type column in the Overview or when placed inside the bundle next to its name.

Timeline and filter

By default, all sales are displayed when you enter a bundle the first time, but you can easily change the timeline and add a filter you want to visualize.

Your chosen timeline and filter will automatically be set to all data points for the sales, marketing activities, and event tabs.

Note that the changes don't apply to the customer tab since the Customer tab is a snapshot of the customers as they were at their purchase.

Available filter options

All bundle types will be able to filter on:

  • Order date

  • Ticket type (does not apply to Tixly customers)

Ticket bundles of type Flexible will also have the following filter options:

  • Event

  • Production

  • Event tag

  • Weekday the event starts

  • Hour of the day the event starts

  • Date the event starts

If you modify the timeline or filter, the settings will remain for the specific ticket bundle and MarketHype user. The filter and timespan will be remembered the next time the user returns to the same ticket bundle.

Analyze

MarketHype provides statistics for each ticket bundle. Note that some data points under Sales and Event might vary depending on ticket bundle type and integration.

This is available for Flexible and Fixed bundles and displays statistics on all events in the ticket bundle.

Fixed bundles:

Ticket Bundles in the filter

To filter for a Ticket bundle, add an "Orders made" category filter and select "Ticket bundle." If needed, you can further filter by special bundle or ticket type, for example. Read more about the filter here.
