Many email clients do not support videos in emails, and the risk of ending up in the spam filter gets higher. Therefore, it is not possible to embed a video when using the email editor in MarketHype.
However, we do have a workaround for you! 💡
Instead of embedding the whole video, you can create a thumbnail (a snapshot from the video), make the recipient click on it and redirect them to the relevant video.
Choose a snapshot of the video you want to include in the email.
Go to Images, click on Add image → Upload, and choose the relevant image.
When uploaded, go to Marketing → Emails and open up the email in which you want to include the thumbnail.
Add an image element to your email and insert the relevant photo. In the edit content bar, you will find the section Action and Image Link. Here you add the link to the video the recipient will be redirected to when clicking on the image.
