Greeting your customers on their birthdays is suitable for many different reasons, such as boosting customer loyalty and relationships, strengthening brand awareness, and creating opportunities for sales and promotions.

Here are three different ways to congratulate your contacts:

A video greeting from an artist or your personnel

Convert it to a GIF and include it in the email, or embed a snapshot of the video along with a play icon to redirect the recipient to the video.

A birthday wish that stands out

Stand out from the crowd and send a birthday wish the day after their birthday. This will show the customer that you didn't forget about them; you just wanted to stand out. At the same time, it will let them know that they are more than welcome any day of the year, birthday or not.

A loop of birthday wishes

You could set up two to three different birthday automations and send a Happy Birthday loop to your customers! The automations can then be set to send out at different timespans and have either the same or different content.

For example:

Automation 1 - goes out 90 days before their birthday

Automation 2 - goes out 30 days before their birthday

Automation 3 - goes out on their birthday
