Congratulate your customers and show that you care to improve your relationship!

A birthday wish on their special day

Send out a special birthday wish by creating a video with an artist or someone from your crew wishing them a happy birthday.

If your business work with discounts or other offers like a free gift, this can be included in this email as a birthday gift. Make sure to mention if the discount or offer has an expiration date.

A loop of birthday wishes

In addition to the previous section with a birthday wish on their day - why don't you create one or two extra birthday automations, and make a Happy Birthday loop for your customers? ๐ŸŽ‰

The automations can then be set to go out at different timespans and have either the same or different contents.

For example:

Automation 1 - goes out 90 days before their birthday

Automation 2 - goes out 30 days before their birthday

Automation 3 - goes out on their birthday

Content

  • Mention their name to make it more personal by using Merge tags.

  • Use storytelling to picture how their birthday could turn out if they celebrate it with you.

  • A discount or offer.

  • Free gift if they book a stay or purchase a ticket to an event.

  • Include a link to one of your favorite lists on Spotify.

A birthday wish that stands out

Stand out from the crowd and send a birthday wish the day after the actual birthday. Telling the customer that you didn't forget about them, you just wanted to stand out from the crowd and at the same time let them know that they are more than welcome any day of the year - birthday or not.
