Want to find contacts that have made a specific purchase? For example, all customers that bought a ticket to a specific event of yours or bought a certain ticket type. This and more can be done thanks to the Orders made category.
This is the largest category filter with many data points for you to filter on. The category can be found under the Include and Exclude sections.
The magic of the Orders made category filter
Some data points will vary based on organization type and what data we receive from your ticketing system. Once you choose one, a new window will appear with further data points to filter on. For example, if you want to filter on a Ticket purchase and choose Ticket as an order item, data points like ticket type will be visible at the next step.
ℹ️ You can also choose to click on Skip to filter by any order if you want to find all contacts that have made an order, no matter what the order includes.
Order items
You can choose to base your order filter on a Ticket, Season ticket, or Product.
Order attributes
These data points are available for all organizations. You can, for example, select those who made an order during a specific period or date.
Order items
Ticket
This order item comes with a range of data points. Find those who bought a specific ticket type or bought a ticket to a specific venue or event. Maybe you want to discover who your Early bird and Late birds are.
Season Ticket
This one is available if you work with season tickets. Filter amongst seasons, sales channels, ticket types, etc.
For example, find those who bought a ticket for a specific season and tell them that the upcoming season is available.
Products
Filter on add-on products by using the product name, product tag, or product code. You can also find those who bought an add-on product for a specific venue or for a specific price.
For example, find those who bought the wine package for a dinner show.
Examples of when and how to use the Orders made category
Communicate with customers for or after an upcoming event
Send an email or SMS to selected event customers to welcome them and share vital information, or thank them for their visit.
Promote and stay relevant with your customers
Use previous event customers to push upcoming events that might match their interests! This is also a great opportunity to stay relevant in the communication with your subscribers.
If you work with event tags based on genre, you can use the filter to select those who bought a ticket to an event of a certain genre. And exclude those who already bought tickets to upcoming events you want to promote.
If you don't work with event tags - you can choose to include those who bought a ticket to specific events instead.
Give extra love and attention to your regular guests
Find out who your regular guests are to talk more frequently with them. You can choose to go for any order and select those who have made at least two purchases or more. You can also choose if they should have made these orders during the last month, 365 days, last 3 years, etc.
Promote your upcoming season tickets to regular guests and previous season ticket buyers
Let these customers get access to a presale before you release the tickets for everyone. It will benefit both your sales figures and customer relationship.
Upsell
Exclude those who already bought an add-on product, for example, if you have a dinner show with the possibility to pre-book a wine package if you want to give you upsell an extra push.
It also works the other way around - if you want to talk exclusively with those who bought an add-on product. Instead of excluding them, choose to include them instead.
