In order to start sending an SMS from your MarketHype, there are a few things that need to be in place. Follow the guide below to get started:
Step 1: Create your sender name
This will be visible to the recipients. Follow the rules below to set this up:
SMS Sender name
The name must follow the rules below:
Contain a minimum of 4 characters and maximum of 11 characters
Only contain the letters A-Z in uppercase or lowercase.
Example: Company
Step 2: Create your stopword
The stopword is to be used by the contact when unsubscribing. Follow the rules below to set this up:
Stop word
The stop word must follow the rules below:
Be globally unique in the MarketHype application
Only contain uppercase alpha characters (A-Z) and space
At most, one consecutive space
Be at least six characters long
Be at most 12 characters long
Must include "STOP" or "STOPP"
Example: COMPANY STOP
Step 3: Contact the MarketHype Success team
Start at chat or send us an email to let us know what your sender name and stop word are, and we will add those to your MarketHype.
