What are MarketHype Surveys?

Learning what your customers think about their experience with you isn’t just nice to know; it helps you confirm (or challenge) your assumptions and provides valuable insights you can act on, both strategically and tactically, moving forward.

MarketHype Surveys isn’t just another survey tool. Instead of having everything scattered across disconnected silos, you’ll have access to everything you need about your audience in one platform:

Having everything on the same platform

  • You can easily drop your survey into the marketing tool you’re already using to communicate with your audience.

  • Since your order data is already in the system (via your ticketing integration), we can connect the survey to the relevant event and tie the responses to it.*

  • You get a more complete analytics view by connecting feedback to your order data.

Save time and manual work

  • Since your order data, marketing tools, and surveys are in the same platform, you don’t have to switch between systems. This saves time and reduces manual work both when sharing the survey and when analyzing responses.

  • You don’t have to create separate forms for different events, since the survey is tied to your order data, and you can filter by event or venue afterward.*

Smooth communication

  • You can easily share your survey using our marketing tools: email, SMS, and automations. You’ll be given these sharing options when creating your survey, and the survey module will be available alongside the other content modules in the email editor.

  • If you’re an event organization using the survey in an event automation, you don’t have to ask respondents which event or venue they attended; this is already tied to the order data.

All responses are saved

  • We save all responses submitted in a survey, not just fully completed surveys. That way, you will gain a higher response rate and more insights to act on. And if you notice people drop off at a certain question or skip it, that can be a clue for how to improve your survey.

  • Increase the chance of getting at least one response by making the first question in your survey a rating question; this can be embedded directly into the email design for easy access.

Customized analytics and a more complete event picture

  • All responses can be viewed in MarketHype and exported to a file. You can see both a summary and individual responses, and you can filter results to focus on what’s relevant to you or others (inside or outside your organization), for example, by venue, question, or time period.

  • If you’re an event organization and you use the standardized questions, you can automatically see the average rating under Sales → Events for that specific event. This means that when you analyze an event, you’ll also have your customers’ feedback available, giving you an even more complete view of the event’s performance.

The three steps of MarketHype Surveys:


1. Create the survey

Choose between different question types: input questions, selection questions, and rating and ranking questions.

Tip: Use standardized questions for easy comparison.

Set your own branding theme to match your visual identity.

2. Share the survey

Share it with your audience via email, SMS, or automations.


For event organizations, it’s beneficial to send it in an after-event automation, since the responses will be tied to the order data.

3. Analyze the responses

View a summary or individual responses. Customize your analysis by filtering by questions, events, venues, time periods, and more.
