As it sounds, a signup form allows subscribers to sign up to receive information, offers, newsletters, etc., from your organization. You add the form to your website, and once a contact has completed the signup, it will go straight into your MarketHype audience for you to communicate with. All contacts will have freely given consent.
Ways to design a signup form
You can create a signup form in multiple ways, all based on your needs. However, three mandatory elements must be included in all forms (Email, Subscription type, and a send button).
If you intend to use your signup form to add new subscribers, a basic form containing those three elements and a privacy policy check box is recommended. By keeping the bar low, you increase the chances of contacts signing up.
There are more elements to choose from if you like to collect more information from your contacts. You will have MarketHypes standard contact attributes to choose between, like the first name, address, etc. If you need more than the standard attributes, you can add your organization's custom attributes to your form.
Maybe you would like to offer different subscription possibilities in the same form. This is done by adding multiple subscription types. The subscriber can then choose whether to receive information from one or more options and will be subscribed to the subscription types tied to the different choices.
Ways to share a signup form
You create the signup form in your MarketHype and then can choose to share it with people in two different ways:
Picking up the script and adding it to your HTML want the form to be shown. This is recommended if you like to include the signup form in the design of your website. If you need help, your web agency can most likely assist you.
Share a link that will open your form as a separate page when people click on it. It's perfect to use if you want to add your form to an email. You will have a default design but can adjust this by changing the CSS in MarketHype (Style).
