If you have different communication groups that are being stored in separate subscription types, you can use those in your signup forms. For example, Restaurant and lunch, Conference or Event news. That way, you let the subscribers choose what type of communication they want to receive from you, and they will then be subscribed to the subscription types tied to the different options.

All subscription types must be created before you can add them to your signup form. Do this here.

Step 1: Build the form

In MarketHype, you add the fields that you want the subscriber to fill in, for example, first name, zip code, etc. Mandatory fields to have in the form are email, subscriptions, and a submit button.

You can easily customize your form with general or custom attributes, a privacy policy checkbox, and text elements.

ℹ️ We recommend that you add a privacy policy checkbox to make sure the subscriber has the option to read and accept the terms.

Choose subscriptions

Specify what subscription type(s) all new subscribers shall end up in. This is done at Click to specify subscriptions.

Here, you select all subscription types that you want the subscriber to choose between. Each subscription type will have its own checkbox, and the subscriber will be able to subscribe to more than one.

Step 2: Settings

Give your form an internal name, set the language, and customize the confirmation emails used for the double opt-in.

Step 3: Styling (optional)

Apply CSS styling or provide a link to an external CSS file to customize the appearance of the form.

Step 4: Publish your form

Publish your form, and use the embed code or URL link to share it on your website.
