Would you like to edit the timing of when the automated email will be sent? Or got some new information to add? In this article, we guide you on making changes in your automation.
Step 1: Pause your automation
You need to pause your automation to edit it. So start by entering your automation and press the Pause and edit button in the upper right corner. Your automation will now be paused from sending emails, and you will be able to make your changes.
Step 2: Edit your automation
Edit starting point
To change the rules for when the email will be sent or the recipients, click on the first block in your automation chain.
Edit communication type
To change the communication type (marketing or non-marketing), click on Settings in the upper menu to make the changes.
Edit the email design, subject, and preview text
Click on the Send email block to edit the sender address, subject line, and preview text.
To edit the email design, hover over the image to find the Edit button and you will be sent to the email editor.
Step 3: Re-activate your automation
When you feel happy with your changes, activate the automation again by pressing Start in the upper right corner.
